Architect - One Year Fixed Contract

Ready to design your career at Harrods?

We are looking for an innovative, organised and passionate Architect to join our extraordinary team in Harrods Interiors. The role will require you to support and drive the detailing and architectural elements of our commercial and residential projects.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Thanks to your exceptional organisational skills, you will be overseeing and coordinating the production of drawing packages, including all relevant schedules. Excellent verbal and written communication is also essential, as you will be presenting to and liaising between multiple parties, including clients, sub-contractors and architects.

      You will have working knowledge of all design and RIBA stages: conceptual, detail and design development, construction documents, construction administration and site supervision as well as a thorough understanding architectural detailing and drawing standard and working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning process.

      The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the architecture/interior design industry and at least 3 years of experience delivering high-end residential projects in London.

Being highly competent in AutoCAD is essential for this role. Additionally, fluency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), MS Office and Sketch up is required.

Furniture, interior and spatial visualisation skills through hand drawings/renderings would be beneficial but not essential.

We are looking for an exceptional Personal Assistant to support our Head of Harrods Interiors. Based on the front desk within Harrods Interiors, you will be well presented and have impeccable front-of-house etiquette.

 

Able to multitask, whilst maintaining accuracy, you will remain positive at all times. You will have strong communication skills as you will be supporting the wider team, stakeholders and clients. Remaining calm under pressure, you will approach demanding situations in an accommodating and diplomatic manner, providing practical solutions to any problem.

 

As a self-motivated individual, you will possess excellent negotiation skills and be able to build stable relationships based on mutual trust. The successful candidate will be highly organised in order to meet tight deadlines and must possess superlative diary management and meeting scheduling skills. Previous PA administration or secretarial experience is essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Packages.

Are you an administrative whizz with acute analytical skills?

We’re looking for an exceptional Procurement Administrator to join our Harrods Interiors team.

Working collaboratively with the procurement team to deliver business objectives, you will support the admin level, including travel and contract management. Excellent communication and organisational skills will be essential in order to coordinate internal stakeholders to support and deliver procurement projects in time and on budget.

Always proactive and eager to learn, you will constantly develop your knowledge of procurement systems and administration in order to maximise productivity.

The successful candidate will have administration experience and strong numeracy skills.
