Harrods Interiors offers a full interior design service. Working closely with you, the team creates bespoke designs, incorporating fixtures and fittings to suit your lifestyle, taste and requirements.
After the initial briefing meeting with Harrods Interiors, the design of your space will be carried out in five phases.
The Harrods Interiors team will set the design direction, creating mood boards so you can get a feel for the fundamental design elements in your scheme.
The team will produce initial colour palettes and present you with ideas for furniture schemes, so you can offer your feedback and give the team the chance to revisit any areas that may need rethinking.
Design Detail Development
Harrods Interiors will propose any layout changes, and produce furniture and finished plans to help you visualise the finished space.
The team will then confirm all of the furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) needed to transform your space, and also share details of any accessories that will be used. Again, you’ll be encouraged to offer feedback at this stage, giving the team the chance to revisit any areas that may need redesigning.
Once the team have your approval, they can move onto the next stage: composing finishes, FF&E and accessories schedules for the project.
The team will also create a detailed design package that includes elevations, RCPs, skirting, curtain details and light switches. Detailed drawings of any custom-made FF&E pieces will also be provided by Harrods Interiors at this point.
The team will seek your approval and you’ll have the chance to revisit any areas that might need alterations.
Review of Construction Package & Procuring
Harrods Interiors will receive construction drawings from the architects, mark them up and approve them before the project moves to construction stage. If any consultants and contractors are being instructed to work on the project, the team will supply you with information about them at this point.
As well as placing procurement orders and monitoring the manufacturing of anything being made for your project, the team will make frequent visits to your property to monitor the progress of the work being carried out.
Project Installation & Handover
Finally, as the project gets closer to completion, the team will oversee on-site installation. Any aspect of the project that might need further attention will be noted and actioned by the team.
Once satisfied that the project has been completed to the highest possible standard, the team can discuss with you the best ways to care for and maintain all of the new FF&E in your newly transformed space.
